On April 21st, Governor Baker announced that schools in Massachusetts will remain closed for the rest of the year. Early in March, the Governor closed school until May but as the number of cases of COVID-19 increases, it was decided that school should remain closed. Boston Public School will continue to provide learning opportunities for its students remotely. Additionally, MCAS test in all Massachusetts schools have been cancelled. They are also asking families of students of BPS to complete a survey that will inform them of what students' and their family's need.
