All the details you need to know about the Coronavirus Stimulus Check

IRS 03/30

It was announced by the IRS and the Department of Treasury that the Coronavirus stimulus check will be distributed within the next three weeks. Most people who filed their taxes will receive the check automatically. This means both Americans citizens and legal alien residents will receive the relief aid check. Tax filers who made less than $75,000 will receive the full amount of $1,200. Married couples will receive $2,400. Social security recipients and railroad workers are also eligible. People who have dependents will get up to $500 for each dependent who is less than 16 years old. The IRS will automatically get the money to individuals using the method they selected for their 2019 tax returns. The IRS will use the information on the Form SSA-1099 or Form RRB-1099 for people who are not required to file a tax return and did not file a return for 2018 or 2019. Hence, senior citizens, Social Security recipients and railroad retirees will receive this relief payment.
